I'm looking at the 1999-2002 Camaro with the 305/382 V8 engine. They don't cost a lot to buy these days, and most of them could get by without the expense of a paint job. I used to bracket race a 9,000 rpm stick car, and did okay with it, in spite of using an H-pattern shifter. A vertical-gate shifter would be legal for stock, right? Lol- a B/S race car- sounds like the punch line to a joke... |

By the way, why is the '98 Z28 shown in the guide with the LT1 engine instead of the LS engine?
If I can only find a '98, what would need to be changed to make it a '99, so that I could run the LS engine it came with? |
