He wants the bucks that only a mega event can bring in and he ain't getting it until the Governor says he can. And as a side note most governors are now saying that there will be no large sporting events until fall of 2021.

A track that size wouldn't make any money from a Summit race, with the cost of glue, crew, etc. However , I would give the local help a paycheck , so they would still be available for the bigger events, down the road.
I guess I'm just the type who doesn't like to assign nefarious motives to a businessman trying to save his business.
