Let's say there was NO quota and NO grade point requirements for the Gatornationals.Anybody that wanted to race in Stock Eliminator was free to compete.

How many cars would be there? Probably about 60.

I would say there would be near 100 cars in both stock and super stock. I cant remember the exact car counts at the Baby Gators last year but it was close to those numbers. Most would stay for the national if they could get in. so easily 80+ so NHRA is leaving $40,000 on the table by cutting the entries due to the quota. That's figuring 20 cars more in each eliminator and some crew. Now if it was 100 cars per category then double that number.

About 5 years ago I got in Super Stock with 3 grade points. Last year I had 6 grade points and could not get in. A long drive from Minnesota for only a points meet. To bad, it’s been fun to get out of the cold and snow and race earlier in the year. Around here the season doesn’t start until the middle of May if we are lucky.

All to save the 2-3 thousand dollars they would have to pay the help for a couple extra hours per day, and a few extra employees for the weekend!

Trump needs to take over NHRA and create more jobs!!!

There were 103 Stockers at the Baby Gators a week before the Gators. I probably would have stayed and run the Gators if I could have. I was already there! How many others would have also? Jim
