Fred, everybody is aware that we don't do this for the money, and that
Stock/Super Stock subsidizes the semi-pro and pro class payouts, however, I found it to be a positive move to remind us to make sure we have the right decals and products in place to receive the maximum payout available. Given the landscape of racing today, prep, no prep, High Dollar bracket races, etc., I think NHRA has done a decent job of putting some life back into the contingency program. J.R. |

I did notice a reminder on the NHRA racer page about having correct decals for products used. Nice addition to the event coverage in the ND though.

I found it interesting and a good way to give the sponsors some additional recognition.
I don't see anyway this would hurt getting additional contingency awards. Bill |
