As racers and chemists looked for any edge, stuff like Gold, ERC became available and expensive. Some had a harsh smell, and fuel ck guys were getting nauseatted as car after car idle by. When almost everyone had something, it was back to square one.
Additionally, NHRA saw a way to milk gas suppliers for $ to be a spec fuel. |
