I remember the early years. The first Pomona, flagmen, etc. Started trying to race (at race tracks) in 1961. We have become less important for several years now. More of a tech headache.

A little wise marketing about S/SS, Comp would sure help.
There is none.
One inexpensive way to advertise races in area school newspapers.
Invite area newspapers and radio stations to send a crew to watch.
There are a lot of little things that can be done to improve attendance and interest.
Then there is social media..
