I can say this with certainty, the last two years I didn't receive a single unjust round and passed a tear down both years at Noble.

Something I am very proud of.

The blue challenger lost a hood, not the pink one. But I don't blame them, team cars is a little different than diving in my opinion.

I wonder if anyone got a picture of the hood flying. It apparently went very high. Where is Spike when you need him?

Mr Jeff,I wasn't there but was listening to the audio cast at the time of the launch and he got very excited and was saying as high as the ET "scoreboards". I'm not sure if he was embellishing the height or not. But that was what he said.

I guess after the hood wen't flying off of big blue. jeff did not have enough time to clean out his fire pants.that is why he did not run the pink car.just saying!!!! that is my story and I am sticking to it. S.P. go Kevin. FYI I am often asked why Jeff called his blue Challinger BIG BLUE!!!! well that car was named after his Famous Mud Racing Truck that was unbeaten!!! and yes it was a BIG BLUE DODGE TRUCK Driven by a big Man.

OK Boys. Here is the deal. I own all three cars in question. And it was way too early in the morning to race. But Really, my team will do what it takes. This far into the season you do what you gotta do. And the fun has just started. I will have to invoke the Chuckey Rayburn rule; if you ain't in the top ten, you don't have a vote. Wait till Las Vegas and then we can get this thing souped up. From the tower; the hood was way above the scoreboards. I need a picture. Brannon, you could not hit a hood with a blunderbuss, so I know you can't hit a duck. I love it when a plan comes together. The other Chuck Rayburn rule goes like this here; If you don't have a car or haven't raced in two years or more; you don't have a vote. Now Chuck Rayburn rules are totally Politically Incorrect by today's standards. But Chuck is Politically Incorrect for any standard. He is in charge, so whatever he says in Vegas in law.

Sounds like Chuck's got it right...a Gil Favor kind of guy (ref your post on the 'live' thread)

Keep movin', movin', movin'
Though they're disapprovin'
Keep them doggies movin', rawhide
Don't try to understand 'em
Just rope, throw an' brand 'em
Soon we'll be livin' high an' wide

I told Jeff that we should just race to avoid this very thread, and he asked me if he still owns all this stuff.............And as far as Tear downs, Our Southland Dodge Cars, mainly my Red car, (4 times)has been tore down at INDY 5 times in 4 years. Yes the math is correct. One year we had two in the barn at one time. As a matter of fact, the engine in the Red car is the same one I tore down at INDY last year. Shes getting a little tired with all the runs this year. Hope this helps.

Jeff,
I accept your generous offer of law maker for the Las Vegas race. The first law is for you. You and Sherman will trade cars and we will see which car can run the fastest and quickest all out for class. No "gentleman's agreement" allowed. Based on both of your 1000' ets in the "mineshaft conditions" at Indy, you both are 200 lbs. too light for B/SA. In the interest of "fairness" for your fellow B/SA racers, you both shouldn't have a problem deliberately giving yourselves the weight you both deserve.
Its either this or both of you have to wear a bumper sticker that says, "I'm not fast, I'm in the wrong class!" Its all about "fairness" and not discouraging your fellow B/SA racers. I know you are a "fair" man...don't let me down.

Now that's funny!

I'll go you one better, if you can get nhra to allow it for this one race I'll gladly put my corvette at the AA/SA minimum that a ls1 camaro or firebird would have to be which is 3025# and we can run for class in vegas. Being that I know how fast I am, and that I have been running my car at 3270# I'm more than willing to take my chances, you fellas just let me know so I can bring my cutting torch with me to get all this weight out...lol
