WOW.. May come down using the AutoTrain. Park the car and trailer and fly down to race the Division. Like that all the races would be within 1 - 4 hours from Orlando That is cost effective. Dan |

Just in the state of FL and extreme southern GA.
Between IHRA tracks which include Immokalee, Bradenton, Orlando, PBIR and SGMP. NHRA tracks, Gainesville. I imagine that the scheduling for both sanctions will be interesting. It is nice to have a bunch of races right in a row within short distances, but it sure impacts the wallet with the amount of races in a row. In the past the Gators was the race to attend as it was the opener for the East coast. Lots of northern cars came down and it was a blast. They placed a divisional race the week prior as it was a benefit for the racers travelling some distance, two races one trip. Then they added a second divisional, wow, three races one trip. Spent just enough for the trip. Enter IHRA, lets start at the beginning of the year with a race, now we have four races. Then the race tracks start changing sanctions and adding races also. Soon it becomes a mess and now we could possibly have six races almost in a row, with a possible seventh race if PBIR gets into the mix. How is that wallet feeling now. We'll just wait and see what possibly could come from all this. Ron Ortiz U/SA taking time from work

I like IHRA aggressive attitude to get more tracks and have more races per location and tracks closer together in a Division area.
Wish I could have made the triple header at Rockingham. That is cost effective racing for the racers. Dan |

I also heard that Atlanta might not host a D-2 race either. I'm sure the week of Pomona will be interesting when the Divisional Schedule gets released.

Looks like a big shift. IHRA has taken over Florida with NHRA moving North. Both moves are good for the RACERS.

Orlando is more centrally located and may attract more spectators than than the 2 tracks no longer on the Pro schedule - Palm Beach and Bradenton. I wonder if SGMP is being considered. It seems like a good facility to have one at, but no idea how well it would draw spectators.
Can't wait to see the ProAm schedule!

Myron,I know they pack the house at SGMP for the Radial Wars and what ever they call it. I have heard the bleachers are full on both sides of the track.... Time will tell.... I do know that IHRA is looking very good in the "Deep South"... Looks like if all goes as planed it could be it's own division.... Just thinking out loud.... Give some free tickets out and a car load rate and make it up on food and drinks... That's the way the Baders do it or at least from the outside looking in.... Pack the house.....
