Jim Wahl and Mike had Cadillac's here in Florida back in the 90's. They both were very fast and the FWD V8 was very quick and very cool. Jim is on this board and could help with the info.

I never worked on the V8 cars but I remember they were a PITA in teardown. They had these iron sleeves that sort of floated in an aluminum block , until you put the head back on. You needed a special tool to hold the sleeves down when you turned it over. I also remember it sounded a lot like a 55 Chevy 265 Junior Stocker with Stahl headers! Probably not a bad combo. Just remember this : You get a bunch of index over the same class in RWD , where you 60 ft. it as hard as you can, keeping it hooked, then hang it's tongue out on the other end. Not the way you want to go here...
