I went to IslandDragway in 1963 and was hooked. I started racing in 1964 with a 1955 Plymouth, K/SA.
I race for the fun and excitement, and partying with friends and other racers at the track. I am part of division one's Brew Crew. Our coolers are always Stocked I have been racing since 1964, except the two years was in Vietnam Nam. I plan on racing until I just can't do it any more. The car I race now is a 1967 Plymouth GTX that my girlfriend bought new when I was overseas. We are still together and since 1975 this has been our racecar. Currently, the GTX runs in E/SA. We have taken this car from just barely running the index to a 10.84 on a 11.70 index. Still having FUN. JB

I went racing in 1994 at Seattle International Raceway to see how fast the 440 in my '72 Chrysler T&C was. I was instantly hooked.
I race because I love the people and the competition. I love cars but I get bored at car shows. I race Stock because it takes more than just money and I think that Stock and Super Stock are the coolest race cars at the track. I don't have any plans to quit racing.
