I inquired about possible weight breaks for automatics, like the 5% deal the GT Truck classes get, which also have sticks and autos combined. They said they hadn't decided yet.

I inquired about hp factors and they stay the same. Manual and auto are still separate hp factors in FS class

From my understanding even though sticks and autos have been combined in the FS & FSS class there will be no new HP factors used to determine your cars total weight. The stick and the automatic cars will continue to use the same HP figures they already have for the transmission being used.

For example in the case of the 2014 427/430 2014 FS/C (old BB classes) COPO Camaro- the automatic HP factor is 454 HP, and the stick factor is 430 HP with the exact same engine. Now these two cars/engines have the privilege of racing each other heads up in the same class. Given a 140 weight advantage it seems like a field day for most stick cars. Because the stick factors remain virtually unscathed (in most classes) perhaps we will see more stick cars next year since in most cases they enjoy a tremendous advantage in the HP factoring?
