I'll bet there are quite a few Nascar team owners that are none too happy about hearing that! Imagine taking all those millions and years invested in R&D, and all that equipment and making it obsolete with the stroke of a pen. OUCH!
On the other hand making things less expensive in our sport, good plan. I love the IHRA crate motor stuff and really thing a crate motor SS deal would really help out car counts. Maybe allow crate motors in a GT car? |

I would hope that crate motor stuff stays in IHRA. We don't need any more miss-factored stuff "over here".
