According to my handy "1973" rule book, Super Stock was in half pound increments with A being 6.00-6.49 B-6.50-6.99 and so on down to O where they went to one pound increments.

In stock, A was 8.00-8.49 B-8.50-8.99 and so on down to O, where they went to one pound increments.

No idea what the horsepower rating was then.

1973 was also the year stock rules changed quite a bit but I don't remember if the weight breaks changed.
