Isn't all this talk for nothing? Does IHRA even take a motor apart or have someone who can take the parts and know what they are looking for?

Seems sort of a waste with no teardown, just do what you want and make it look "stock" if they ever take the valve cover off.

IHRA knows how to do this and has, why don't you crawl back under your rock, if you raced you would know BUT YOU DON'T at least anymore. Give it a break, either go racing or quit and just let the rest do what they do to have fun.

IHRA has P&G'd my motor. And they were a lot closer to the real cubic inches than NHRA. IHRA was within half a cubic inch of what it is.

I've always declared the right cubic inches. But sometimes I've been pumped and come out 6 or 7 cubes low. To me that could be over 100 pounds.
