A few more photos. Tomorrow stock is out first at 8:45. Although it was warm today, about 85. Tomorrow morning will be cool, upper 50's to low 60's when we run.

Good morning all - In just a little more than two and a half hours we'll hit the track finally - as some have been here since Sunday waiting their turn at the Maple Grove 1320 .As usual the place looks great with its manicured grass and vacumned roads .One thing about this organization - they're not short on staff to maintain the grounds or the track as its always first class .

OK , just as advertised the temperature is a chilly 55 at this moment but will climb to the low eighties again today .How this will effect performance is yet to be seen - if we get a barometer the next few days performance will not be affected much .When the Stockers run this morning it'll still be brisk so the possibility of some way under runs by the big players is very likely .

And speaking of chilly this is a good as time as any to tell you folks about the special delivery I received last night - boxes and boxes of freshly minted sweatshirts - the 'hoodie' type - perfect for this weather - they are black with orange lettering .Thanks Ken - just what I needed - more work .If I get a chance today I'll find someone to model one and post a pic .

Back in a few hours with news hopefully ....and maybe a shot or two from the lanes .......

There aren't alot of choices for cylinder heads so I would assume its W7/W8/W9 headed small block thats stroked and bored a little bit. Wes Leopold ran a 396ci W8 SBM combo for years in SS/AS for years before moving to the P5 SB Hemi motor.
