I can't imagine any of the V-8 Drag Paks wasting their time, not even David Barton. Too bad, it would be a great way to race but no one has a chance with a V-8 DP. 3,000 lbs ready to race? Maybe if Barton loses 200 lbs which I don't think would leave him with much, lol. Oh well, I'll still watch the supercharged cars battle it out.

It will be a two horse race at best, if Copos can get there in time.
Maybe when they do start running, and they start kicking the Fords butts, the NHRA will have to change some rules, and find another way to keep Ford on top. But as long as Mopars are naturally asipirated, and the COPOS and FORDS are supercharged, it would be hard to think that the Mopars could be competetitive. 40 years ago, Mopars dominated and were "legislated" out. Now, by allowing blowers in Stock, but not allowing them on Mopars, the NHRA is essentially doing it all over again. Oh well.... Y'all have fun out there.... David The New Hemi Guy |
