![]() In case there is any question! I went to the tower and was told "you should have told the starter". Now I admit, that would have fixed the problem, but us racers have a million ways to lose on our own you'd think NHRA could refrain from being the cause of it. At a local bracket race is one thing, but these people are supposed to be professionals

Most every track I`ve been to gives you the lower of two dial ins on the windows. Allowing a racer to change that late is complete bs.

Wow - The legend himself! Not too many people know this, but the guy on the right was one of the head wrench turners for Sox & Martin back in the day. If Stock is a direct descendant of the firt Pro Stock cars, this guy is the Godfather of Stock!

When you leave the stageing lanes, the tower takes your dial, it's on the left side of the car at Gainesville. If the racer has two dials, he should be tossed. Also, it's the drivers responcibilty to look at dial board and the score board to make sure the dial is correct. I was at Gainesville, my dial was wrong, I blew my horn at starter,BTW, that's why Rick Stewart hated Stockers. He just about jumped over the tree when I did that to him. It's the drivers responcibility for all matters relating to his dial.
