Can You Adjust Your Dial After The Burnout?

Can you now adjust your dial after the burnout,or was the dial entered wrong into the computer?

Skillman adjusted his dial right after the burnout... then left too soon...

If this procedure has changed, it's new to me. They may have changed the dial in error, not realizing that it wouldn't be changed by the tower officials because it was changed it too late.

I was listening on the computer and it sounded as if he had one dial on the back window and another on the side window and they didn't match.

Speaking of dial-ins,I'm guessing that the dial in was NOT supposed to be 11.17.Maybe 11.77?

if this was today (9 of march) i herd on live audio he had two different dial on the car.they said "both dial had to be the same". the one on the back window wasn't the same as the side or front.

Talked to my Dad(Mike McGinley) and he said that Red(nhra official) had to go back to the pits and get Skillman after waiting on him to come to the lanes(forever!). Then the whole dial in deal, two diffrent ones, changing the dial(just more vip treatment by nhra) So after all the game playing and jacking around Skillman gos red! To bad money cant buy u a win or nhra would be selling those to!!! Btw Skillman had the first stage bulb on and the last time i checked that meens he accepted his dial in,but they still backed him out and changed it.The pair before my dad ran(my old buddy Chad Rhodes!!) got screwed also, they didnt back Chad out and ask him if he wanted to change his dial did they!!??

11.77 was clearly on all 4 windows of my car. My fault for not seeing it on the scoreboards but it's a hell of a way to lose a round. I have a interesting pic I'll post in a few

In case there is any question! I went to the tower and was told "you should have told the starter". Now I admit, that would have fixed the problem, but us racers have a million ways to lose on our own you'd think NHRA could refrain from being the cause of it. At a local bracket race is one thing, but these people are supposed to be professionals
