To prepare for the 2.3L vs 4.0L supercharger showdown race, Evan Smith and the Bongiovanni crew cooled down the Cobra Jet modular engines with bags of ice and fans

Evan Smith topped Blaine Ramey in the 2.3L vs 4.0L supercharger showdown with a 9.34 et at 143.69 mph

In Saturday's Cobra Jet match race, #2 qualifier Randy Hopkins faced #1 qualifier Carl Tasca. Both cars launched hard but tasca went red and shut off at 600 feet. Hopkins took the win with a 8.37 et at 147 mph

Thank you to all the racers and fans that came out for this event. It went exceptionally well and couldn't have happened without them.

Car owners and Cobra Jet fans came from around the world. We had a gentleman from Australia there who owns a 2010 Cobra Jet.

It's been an exciting opportunity for me to work with the racers and sanctioning bodies to try and inject support and excitement into the sport. Sponsors are coming on, money is being spent, and promotions are helping them realize the potential there is in "stock" style racing.

In addition to our Cobra Jet supporters I want to thank Charlie Westcott Jr. for coming out and participating in a couple match races. It was great to see the cars line up.

It was a great event. We had a blast watching the CJ cars. Congrats to Jesse and Ford Racing for putting together such an awesome group of cars. I hope you have plans to do it again next year with even more cars showing up.

My only complaint is you didn't have an event shirt with the cool event logo on it for sale!!!
