Also make SS & Stock all run no matter how many cars show up and we would run them on a ladder from the start.
Modified !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm in heaven !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! they use to run off of the records. Neat |

Gary Hampton...
I like your idea. No need to make it possessive... (racers') It would still be still "CRA," if that name were chosen. Maybe they could post a poll on the new name and have several choices.... that'd work!

The ladder idea will allow everyone a chance at going at least a round or two, even guys like myself that will have fairly new cars. If class runoffs are the plan, hey, bring'em on, I may be fodder but it'll still be a gas, just to be there. I'll use it as a gage to measure where I need to be in the future. Plus, it'll let me get to know my competition, up close and personal. Robert Swartz

what rules do we go to in case of mulitple rules ?
like pistons, slick size etc ? thats the only big issue i see also... maybe manufacturers could be allowed to pay contingency with credit ... ie $50 cash or $100 credit for you to use ??? captain jack...and caddy's have to run with A/C on right ??? i wanna hold the 1st u/sa CRA record

I like IHRA' s or the way the old stockers from the late '60's and early 70's had thier piston rule. It wasnt any more expensive to buy these pistons and a hell of lot eaiser to police. Id say use 9"inch tires on the stockers but 10 inch tires last longer but are slower and dont fit some wheel wells as easily. As far as Im concerened its open for discussion. Maybe Alex will say different?? Its going to be YOUR association. I guess this is a good time to state your likes and dislikes about both NHRA and IHRA rules. At first the rules should be close to both associations but the lack of inspections in IHRA and the lack of interest from NHRA is something that needs to be dealt with. |

How would you handle "THE FEW, THE PROUD, THE FRONT WHEEL DRIVE STOCKER RACERS"? I must ask, because while NHRA only has five classes for us, IHRA has 16...which NHRA hasn't had for at least 4yrs??? If you wanted to keep class sizes down, I'd have no problem running in the F/I class, because the IHRA's "L/FIA class could be do-able too??? Just a thought....
