I printed and plan to carry the regulations listed for the states with me from now on.
One question I have is as I travel across the country I see the triple hooked trailers and the way they whip across lanes even without a cross wind. How in the world do these states allow the triple hooks which end up at close to 100 ft in length travel on the roads? Missouri is one of those states where I see these all the time I believe and Missouri has a 60 ft limit.
Are the laws outdated or what?
The triple hook setups just have never made sense to me due to safety concerns.
