So you are working with a inline 6 cylinder then? As far as I know, all the 144,170,200 &250 ci Ford 6 cylinders had the intake manifold cast integrally with the head, using a 1 barrel carb. The larger 240 & 300 6 cylinder engines had seperate intake manifolds, but these were never used in the smaller cars, and nothing interchanges with the smaller 6. I have heard of some imported Fords (Australia?) that had seperate intake manifolds, some with cross flow cyl.heads, but I have never seen any myself. I believe that there is a Ford 6 cyl website, but I`m not sure of the site adress.
