I'm looking at the 1999-2002 Camaro with the 305/382 V8 engine. They don't cost a lot to buy these days, and most of them could get by without the expense of a paint job.
I used to bracket race a 9,000 rpm stick car, and did okay with it, in spite of using an H-pattern shifter. A vertical-gate shifter would be legal for stock, right?
