I think the longer wheelbase puts them in a different review category. I think it is great they added it. I will say, to be honest about it, this is a super good combo in a Camaro. NHRA gifted it and it has been fairly well protected so I could see why they carried it over to the Nova.

I for one have discussed multiple times at length via email and written correspondence with NHRA that the early Camaro and '68-72 Nova (actually they are Chevy II's in '68 and Novas from '69 on) should not be considered as the same platform. They share a front sub frame and rear axle housing and that's about it....and even the rear housings have different spring perches as the springs are splayed differently front to rear. GM actually classifies them as different platforms...'F' for the Camaro and 'X' for the Nova.

But the fact is, these cars were built and should have been in the Guide since 1970. The only unfortunate thing is that the weight break didn't end up in the 9.40's as some of the initial paper work on shipping weights indicated it might. -Al
