Started in Street Legal at my home track (Quaker City Motorsports Park) in Salem Ohio in 2000; had been around before that as a fan, touring fan and involved with the Tri-State S/SS Association

Because it was fun and I enjoyed it.

I 'retired' in 2006; fed up with the NHRA/IHRA bull[bleep]. The costs went up, the fun went down, and I could/would not justify spending a thousand dollars and four days over three hundred miles from home and *hope* that, maybe, it'd be kind of fun. No plan to return. I enjoy doing the TSSSSA races and that keeps me involved in racing, seeing my friends, and it's more fun/less hassle than the way it was.
