Now it gets interesting. Where there is smoke, usually fire follows. I don't know Bob, but I know ONE thing. This deal has a smell to it. Refusal to turn over the belts is the ultimate charge. You folks who think NHRA is stupid are wrong.
I recently tried to tech with some pants that had come unsewn in a not easy to find spot. The tech guy was sharp, and he was right. I knew it. He wanted to keep the pants for the weekend, or keep my tech card and let me get them fixed. Very reasonable. I found someone to fix them, and got on with the weekend. No drama. No whining. Those of you who defend not leaving the belts have a slim grip on the rules. If they fail to enforce the rules, the trial sharks chew them up. We all know this. With the amount of "cheating" bandied about all the time, how tough is it to believe that someone might try to game the system?? Not very hard to imagine. Ask your self, if you were putting YOUR money down in Vegas on this deal, where do you bet? Total innocence,or not?? And while you can sue a ham sandwich for libel, winning is a whole nother deal. No axe to grind here, I don't know the players. But my money is on "NOT" And as for tracking through an IP address, that's nuts. I'm on my job right now. At a "public" login terminal. Several hundred people can use this with NO tracing possible. So "lone ranger" could easily hide via that route. CSI is just a TV show. RIP Last edited by sc4400; 05-30-2013 at 11:50 AM. |
