Class Numbers Indy, Question

As the rest of the nation is dry, I sit here watching it flood us. 3.91 inches yesterday, looking about that today with lightning, so I thought I would count cars. So far before the switching, changing, etc., looks like 15 available for FS/S (don't know how many actuall), A/SA 18 (good race), E/SA 7 (good race), 25 SS/AH Cudas & Darts, always a good race, 10 in G/SA (always fun). Not a scientific study. Full field in each class even if all the AH cars go home after class which leads to another question that can only be answered by the high level of education, knowledge, and general racing experience possessed by the members of this forum. Should the AH guys be asked to declare they are going home and taken off the final paring and a ladder then prepared, or should they just not show and pull up alternates as they don't show. Changes the ladder a bit. More as the numbers come in.
