Default Re: Combo in the Hills 3 Idea's

1.Would you like to see Stock & Super Stock Split into 2 sep classes and the winner of each elim run a "King of the Hill" for a little extra purse
No. I think just keeping the classes separate as long as possible is sufficient, while allowing you to advertise one large standardized purse

2.Did you like the CIC Race held on Friday Evening?
Don't see why not if it doesn't cost the promoters/track anything extra.

3.Along with the CIC Race on Friday Night would you like to see a Stk/SS Combo Race held for all the others who don't like the CIC Format?
Yes. I really enjoyed the Friday Gamblers we did last year.

4.Would you like to have the event held before or after a LODRS Event that maybe local (IE - Maple Grove, Cecil)?
The scheduling of the event itself is more important to me than the dates/events around it.

5.If there was a Guaranteed purse (Say $4,000) offered to the winner would you attend?
I don't think that's necessary, but in my opinion, we could strike a balance between the big money offered last year ($275 for $10K with a 125 car minimum) and the strong round money payout of this year ($150 for $4K with a 100 car min). I think they had around 80 cars last year, with bad weather, short notice, and a theoretically bad date (Mother's Day weekend). It was discussed that maybe the big money kept some people away last year. With a better date, better weather, and half the cars, was it just the format? Promotion? Sponsors? I couldn't make it this year due to issues with my truck. I didn't get it fixed til late Friday afternoon, so I elected for the race 5 hours closer for me. With the cost of travel these days, I'm willing to pay a little more at the gate for a greater potential reward. If you split the difference on entry/payout, you could reduce the car count minimum requirement to a very realistic and attainable number.

Proposed 2013 Formats (roughly same Net as this year's format):
$250 entry..............$200 entry
Win $7,000.............Win $5,000
R/U $2,500..............R/U $1,500
Semi $1,000............Semi $800
Rnd 5L $600...........Rnd 5L $400
Rnd 4L $400...........Rnd 4L $300
Rnd 3L $200...........Rnd 3L $200
...........75 Car Minimum...........

2012 Format

Win $4,000
R/U $1,000
Semi $600
Rnd 5L $400
Rnd 4L $300
