But an example would be Don Little's Challenger in SS/JA and an identical Challenger (both the same 383's, both built by Don Little). Who will win? For starters, the SS/JA index is TWO TENTHS softer. The SS/J guy has a mirror image car except a manual transmission. They both run a 10.00. SS/JA wins class by being TWO TENTHS further under his index!
I've brought this disparity between indexes up before. I guess it only affects a couple of people and nobody cares. I think it's rediculous..

Manual and automatic classes are separated! They do NOT run against each other in class eliminations!
