Default Re: Best Super Stock Station Wagon/All Time?

When they moved SS/Q to R what happened to cars like Jimmy Parker's 66 Chevy 4 door running R with the 283 220hp? Maybe we could wake up Parker to fill us in....Sorry, know this is about station wagons, but would like to know....

At it's natural HP and weight, it was always in the 15.00 weight break class until they started factoring engines. Even at 235 HP the 300 Deluxe is still 14.11 at natural weight and can still run N at 3695 lbs., which we did for years. Now at 227 HP it would only have to weigh 3575, only 105 lbs over it's original weight.

Why "Q" and "O" were confusing in SS but not in Stock is beyond me, but thanks for reminding me Mark.
