I hope they do well with the race. I have been very supportive to IHRA this year and plan on attending all eight of the d3 races, but these are the kinds of gimmicks that I fell will keep a lot of NHRA racers away.

X's 2 but Im thinking it has more to do with Royce Miller (track owner) than IHRA. Thats just my opinion as he is afraid the car count wont support the purse. He dosent know squat about stock or S/S and is an old S/C racer. Of course IHRA management needs to come a long way also.
