update: dad's surgery went very well. he has walked 60ft a couple of hrs after the surgery, and today he walked just as far. Its goin to be a slow progress, but hopefully we can get him out to the races before the end of the year...who knows maybe INDY

Is that the reason why he keeps renewing his license?? thats fine, I'd love to see the old man row the gears again....those are my fondest memories!!
