A question Mr. Reptile may have the answer for, but how do I get this thing to stop leaking. Oil comes out around the area the arrow is pointing to. (Not sure of the correct name) This isn't a shaft that turns but turning the input will get oil leaking around the edges here. It isn't coming from the bearing cover. I've tried putting a thin skim of sealer over it but the leak persists. I'm at the point I need a drain plug in my bellhousing as it's always got gear oil inside.. Suggestions??

Like Jeff said hylomar too cover it up.some guys use nasty rtv .This is something we will be working on next year with a aluminum case or another option not too be disclosed on here
