The engine's and tran's and converter in this cars are a lot of money to just say o'well I will just build me a new engine that is not ring out on horsepower. I don't know how everyone else feels about is, but I don't enjoy watch a fast car that haves to run to the 1,000 ft mark to save on horsepower and weight for his hard work. I think if you can't be competative in the class you are running then you should find a class that you can aford to run in. I really enjoy watching superstock and stock class, why not let the racers that can run fast in class run it all out to make it sum great classracing instead of punshing the racers to run to the 1000 ft mark because of getting horsepower and weight.I feel that their is a lot of stock and superstocker that wood make class racing really interresting!!!! just my 2 cents worth It's like the one post say's who wood you all like to see RUN ALL OUT with out scoreboards. I hope everyone enjoys their racing this year. Thanks alot nhra tech!!!!!
Less and less class racers think the way you and I do as more people believe it is their god given right to be competitve in whatever class they choose to run. I f a guy is fast he is either cheating or spending to much money. Its not all about money but feel like it is.
