I drain the system, pump out via the return line, pour in a splash and pump, splash n' pump one more time. Never touched the two inline filters used, and it checked perfect -- and moreover, it didn't change the rest of the weekend.

While it's admirable for you to take the blame upon yourself, it's not a very comforting explanation from a fuel standpoint! Why is this stuff *that* unstable and *that* sensitive?
