Cool Re: The Fall of the United States, The End

With the complexities of the world we live in, and in life in general, it can't be an accident. The big bang would only have left a big mess. The Bible, which is the word of God, starts out by saying,"In The Beginning GOD created the heavens and earth". He didn't go into a great amount of detail to explain the process, He didn't have to. That end justified the means, whatever processes God selected to achieve His desired end.Besides, who did He have to explain anything to? He certainly didn't have to ask anybody's permission in order to be God. God is a God of absolutes. Everything He ever did is absolutely right according to His standards. That being said, He has the authority to dictate policy and we are fortunate to have a choice to either follow His leading, or go our own way. If we do that, we take our chances. God is a God of love, He loves us, provides for all of us, enables all of us with abilities, talents, and intelligence. It is our choice to follow him or not. That being said, we live in a society with fewer and fewer absolutes. Seems like anything goes anymore. The further we get down our own road rather than the higher way, the more we prove over and over again that we don't have many answers. Any more, if the mention is that we need to turn from our waywardness and seek God's face, that usually results in a level of derisiveness in the reply of others. You know what one tangible proof is of God's existence and presence on Earth? He gave us a mind of our own,He expects us to use it, and He will show us how if we let Him.

I am in my 70’s and as a kid during the summer at night I would lay out in my yard and look up at the stars. I would always wonder if someone was out there looking back from another world. I always knew that the world and all those stars and possible other planets were not an accident. There had to be plan for the creation of such an amazing universe. Science did not and cannot answer all the questions about the creation so there is only one other answer for me.
I am a believer that God had a plan and what we see all around us is what that plan created.
The United States was founded on Christian faith and values which I have witnessed being degraded in my lifetime. If you disagree pull some legal currency out of your pocket and read the words on it.
It seems the US if getting farther away from those founding principles.
I hope our great country can survive far into the future for my kids and grandkids.

You have to have more faith in believing that all this is an accident than it was created. A painting doesn't just create itself. Someone plans and creates it. He says that people that can't see have scales over their eyes. I got a question prove he doesn't exist?

I have plenty of legal US currency that doesn't have what you are looking for on it.That was not added to the currency or the pledge until the 195x's. I was in school and remember when the pledge was changed.

Agreed, its biased. Only Christ rose from the dead....so that one. Parents responsibility for sure. Schools, Govts only affirm.

So where are the millions of years of bones from our supposed ancestors and different species of animals that have evolved over millions of years. Don't you think there would be something? That's some serious faith with no proof to back it up. So did we start out as a tad pole grow from there or an ape and grow from there? If it was an ape why are there still apes not evolving? And whatever we started from. Who created that? I'll say it again, prove there is no God? Eddie, you are a very smart intellectual man. Do some research on proving there is no God. I have a small short book if you are interested in reading I could send you if you like.

Evolution? What evolution, and to what? I don't see any evolution, but it looks like the opposite process is underway.

Humans did not evolve from chimpanzees or any of the other great apes that live today. Instead they share a common ancestor that lived roughly 10 million years ago. Walking on two feet may have helped them to run for longer distances to get away from predators. It also may have helped them to find food from further away and have free hands to carry it back home. Whatever the reason, those that could walk on two feet were surviving more often. Lucy, the upright ape that was discovered in 1974. She first appeared 3 million years, she stood upright and had a larger brain. Lucy was in the third of five stages of human evolution.
