Of course everyone has their own outlook on weather and track conditions. It just depends on what you are use to. However, when somebody from the "cooler" regions of the country starts complaining about 88 degree weather and "high" humidity in the 40%-50% range, I really wish that they could experience what we race in 75% of the time. I could move, but I've never heard of anybody from the South retiring and moving North. RJ |

R J, you are truly a wise man. I can remember testing my old trucks at No Problem. It was August. It was 104 outside the trailer on the asphalt, it was afternoon so the sun had beat the humidity down to 50%, but we had a 30.43 Barometer. I was looking for 12.00, unloaded at 11.88. We got more barometer in a Cat 3 hurricane than most tracks got. All this is worth nothing, maybe a dime.

Hey RJ,
I just had a thought! I bet you would like to be at about 8,000 ft (you know, usually above the clouds) enjoying the cool air as I demonstrate the "unusual attitudes" I can put your head, body and the airplane in. It just might be a warm 60 degrees, or cooler, up there. The only hot tarmac I enjoy is between the hanger and runway. Sure was pretty up there just after sunrise. I am with you on the moving North idea. too much "Bad Air" to fly in.
