That duck has 14" wide "feet" now! Spent a few "bills" so he can ruffle "feathers" better in the SS pond. He didn't want to "quack" the car up trying to "fly" with 9-10" "feet".

Money well spent. Best thing I've done to mine. Dewayne Custer made a whole different car of mine.

Thanks y'all. Just got it back last Saturday. Still have to do the carpet and put the body panels back in, but it was good enough to bracket race. Actually had some EFI issues (figured that out), but the car still only moved a hundredth and a half in the 60' lane to lane over 4 days, in a 1000 rpm range on the launch. Haven't even gotten into playing with shocks too much yet. Felt like it was leaving good up on the mountain (Bristol), so I'm anxious to get it back to sea level and do some tuning.
Thanks to Mark Walter, DragStory.com for the pic. ![]()

All kidding aside, you're car looks pretty sick now...it reminds me of Steve Lisk's old street/strip car that had a Hemi w/ lenco, & narrowed diff in it.
PS - You might have to change your avatar now... |
