I hope he sells shirts. I would wear one. He is a WFO racer, not a HFO racer.

How can you be sure he is a WFO racer? The throttle body might not be opening 100%.

X's 2 David Barton and Don Fezell are REAL drag racers. I still say its pretty darn good for a "STOCKER" running in S/S !!!!!!

Well, true, but it least he runs more MPH in the quarter than he does in the eighth mile.............Besides, there ought to be some bonus points for getting instant hits. At least the guy is making an effort. I am not going to slam him for that.

If there is anyone that was faster in one, they are hiding it. Right now, he closed out AA/S in a CJ anyway as the MAN! Gotta be worth an AttaBoy at least. LOL>

I'm not knocking you Dartman but don't necessarily see the humor in it; the Johnsons are great racers who have flogged that old fairlane for years...I saw their record run and had hoped it would stand longer but probably won't with the new cars flowing in.

It will have to stand a little longer. Sportsman cars don't set records at National Events.

I know Stephen and Horace, and they are great racers; but their record will be retired in November if it is not reset before then. NHRA retires a record and establishes a minimum 2 years after a record is set, Stephen set the SS/E record in November 2009. Also, the only Sportsman cars that can set National records at National events are TAD and TAFC.

See ,now what has happened is the stockers are getting their wish and now the superstockers will start getting punished by these new cars....
All this would not be happening if they were just put in a class of their own as i have said


fromm day one....Class of their own and let them beat each other up among themselves......

I know how hard it is to get a car to run the index yet set the record.what I found funny was how the nhra again have under factor this car so bad,it ran faster then the record on the first day In super stock.I don't mean any disrespect to the Johnsons.
