Default Air shifter advice

I am looking for advice on rpm controllers for my Dedenbear air shift solenoid. I have heard there are some that are better than others. Any input welcomed.

ACD was the gold standard. Don't know if they are still in business, no longer have a website and haven't posted on their fb page in 4 years

I use a MSD programmable shift controller. Goes up to six speeds. They got expensive, you can still find them

I use a Digital Delay and it works perfect
Shifts twice, Turbo Action shifter, reverse pattern, Biondo Air cylinder

I had that unit in the Camaro. It started randomly missing 3rd gear. Cost me Class @ Indy one year. So while still at Indy I walked up and bought a Digital Delay off of Peter Biondo. Changed it for the eliminator. The car never missed another shift. But I kept burning up points drivers in my Big Stuff 3. I had to send them back several times. It turned out I had a short between the distributor cap and the HRE box manifold we were running when EFI first came out. Upon finding the cap burnt to a crisp under the #4 boot I said " well, there's all these issues" It wasn't enough to make the car miss, but enough to send serious EFI interference throughout the car. Pete told me that his unit had tons of safeguards built into it for RFI, and this test between those 2 units proved he was right. Hope this helps in your decision.

I use the digital delay as well. Been using it 2 years since I made the switch to a 3 speed. Shifts dead on the set point. I use RPM. The shift control that I have can shift on RPM or time.
