Wondering, can the dry ice be placed in a secure container then placed in the fuel cell, then removed before starting the engine for the race?

Is "artificial cooling" not legal? Is fuel temperature not a part of fuel check?

Just asking.

Fuel temp is part of Fuel Check. I have been quizzed about my low fuel temps.

I thought it takes heat to help atomized the fuel so the smaller particles will burn more completely. Will cooling the fuel slow the process and result in larger particles in the cylinder. Is it less important in a FI than a carbed engine.

The reason is because temperature changes the specific density of fuel.
