I was asked if I had done that when I was borderline on a fuel check once.

Wondering, can the dry ice be placed in a secure container then placed in the fuel cell, then removed before starting the engine for the race?

Is "artificial cooling" not legal? Is fuel temperature not a part of fuel check?

Just asking.

Dry Ice has to be vented

You MUST remove the foam! MUST. The dry ice has nothing to do with water so it won’t dilute the fuel and will be gone by fuel check. They check fuel temp after the run to determine the correct chart to use for the fuel check. If you refrigerate your gas and use a cool can it’s pretty cool anyway.

Ever had that feeling in your stomach from too much acid and its bubbling?
