Thats just nuts. Would the V-10 DP;s even run that fast? No other older AA/S could run with it falling off of a cliff.

Personally - I am glad the V10 did not go that fast
I think it can but Andy and I do not know first hand - YET We will be in "protect" mode - as it is referred to on here - when we debut at the Las Vegas National - I call that smart class racing I want to extend a big thanks to Jeff Teuton and the gang for stepping up and slowng down that beast. Looks like the weight and throttle adjustment worked LOL :-) peace

Just imagine what would happen if that car locked up the brakes in the lights, turned hard and struck a lower class car that is not required to have much safety equipment. 145 MPH car hitting an 85 MPH car in the door. Food for thought. Time to move these rocket ships into Super Stock, if for no other reason than safety. When I said that these cars could run in the 8's fairly easily, most everybody looked at me with the stink eye. How much are they opening the throttle to achieve 9.30's? 65%?

Was that 143 on the brakes? There is a few more MPH in those cars if they are hanging parachutes on them now.
Maybe they'll make a 6lb AAA/ class so a 427 Cobra car run. |
