Whether it's Test n Tune, Grudge Racing or time only runs, tracks are normally incredibly crowded these days and we sit and wait for what seems like hours to make a pass or two.
Having said that, let's discuss another scenario when things may have been a bit different. Maybe an opener or a cold night prior to the track shutting down for the season. Let's see who has the CR record for most runs in one day/night! I remember one very cold October and the racing was basically a loop. I'll count my slips. |

Working at speedworld we always brought up the kid on street car night with a 16 second car that made 28 passes on a cold Friday night.

At atco on test @ tune made 30 pass fwd ford escort stocker was a very long time ago was a lot of fun. Had to let the clutch cool of the motor was good lol.

I made 33 passes in my 67 Chevelle on a Friday night a few years ago. ~25 was a regular Friday night for me.

Last year I was doing some testing on the cooling system on my newest Stocker.
In a 36 hour span I made 34 passes with the car. On the closed hood cool down test session, I made 6 passes in 59 minutes. The span of those 6 passes from slowest e.t. to quickest e.t. was .04 seconds within that span of time. It was 90 degrees that day. ![]()
