Hotels for Joliet

A friend is going for the all star race and is looking for a good hotel or motel close the the track. Thanks, Bob

hey bob and cody, go to microtelinn.com enter in joliet, delete dates, click on redeem wyndham rewards points then hit search. 18 hotels within 25 miles. none are microtels but all listed are owned by wyndham.some hotels take pets, some don't. please ask. don't show up at a no pet hotel with a pet, pisses them off. i work at a microtel in florida and the hotel chain was bought by wyndham. i did try to call wyndham to see if any racers discounts are being offered but the bastards were closed. i'll try tomorrow or you can call 1-866-996-7937. when i call i'll post here any info i can get. Joliet typically sells out the first day that the race dates are posted!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Try morrison ill about 18 miles west of joliet and prices are generally lower too-- if you stay on the west side of town joliet and others i'll tell you the quick back way to avoid race traffic---comp 387

I had good luck last year staying at a best western in the town of Monee, which is southeast of the track. There was also a super 8 nearby. The truck stop next door had good food. I seem to recall it was about a 20 minute drive from the track. Because it was in the opposite direction from most of the traffic there was never a jam. There was not a lot of nightlife nearby, if you're into the party thing.

That is actually Morris,IL. Morrison is way up NW in Illinois.
