If I understand the Class Racer Info site correctly...
A 91-93 Ranger can run in SS GT/TA through D depending on engine combo. Is this is a possibility? Brad Last edited by bpete; 04-03-2024 at 04:44 PM. Reason: text |

You are correct. They did away with the 250lb + or - a few years back in GT

Not sure I have seen a ford ranger in the GT class, that would be cool, hope you can make it happen. John

I need to look into it a bit further.
I have a donor chassis. Some of the aluminum replacement heads look like they are not available for some combinations. Acceptable cross-member modifications are also of a concern. IE what can be trimmed and or replaced within the class guidelines.. Brad |

You need to maintain the upper and lower control arms, otherwise cut out and trim as much as you need for clearance. However you will need to add reinforcement, as a tube/plate under the oil pan.
