Dont take this wrong but when did NHRA allow hood scoops on 1966 Street Hemis and the fiberglass Ford hood and scoop on the 427 Ford Fairlane station wagons (west coast car) with either one 4 or two 4's? I think they look cool but they originally did not come on those combos. 67 was the first year for the Street Hemis as a WO or an RO S/S package and the 2 door hard tops and sedans were the only Fairlanes with a glass hood and scoop. Was this a change made in recent times? Im just asking when this came about? Was it a letter from Carrol Shelby or mother MoPar?

And how did the single 4 NASCAR verson end up with a scoop? Did you ever see a NASCAR race back in 1964 or 65 where the mopars were running a hood scoop? I watched and I didnt see a single mopar with a hood scoop running around Daytona !

And I remember a Stock racer who had a 428 CJ '68 Cougar in E/S. He fought NHRA for a ram-air system & they said "no, never existed". I'm no Ford expert but I would bet the evidence is there that Cougars were available with ram-air in '67-'68 (non shaker style).
