Hi all, would like to get opinions on the best way to set up cal-trac bars on my 68 Camaro to get the best possible short times.
Car goes hi 11's with a best of 11.63. Typical 60 foot times are 1.65 to 1.68 - I'm quite sure I should be able to do much better. Should I be using top hole or bottom hole? Should I pre-load either side? Any thoughts would be appreciated!!

hey man ive got the Smith Racecraft bars which are very similar and the guys there say to preload the hell out of them. They suggested i turn them til they touch and then go two more complete turns. Also bottom hole on the rearend and middle hole on the front. Try contacting cal-trac and see what they say because i know they have tested the bars ia all different settings.
