What's a bunch of phone calls. Fifty ,sixty. There are a thousand plus of us that have Stock Eliminator cars. So the 350/255 Hp 1969 Chevy was mentioned as an example. Racers with that combo played the go slow to keep your average down game and didn't get HP. Good for them. I like to take a look at Indy without the AHFS in play. You don't get all of the different combo's there but you do get quite a few. Take the H/SA class. When was the last time a 255 Hp 350 has won it? That class has been dominated the last almost ten years by a 305 chevy. I don't think that combo should get HP either. Rod and Chris have spent a lot of time and money to get their car to go that fast. It's my opinion that this last change to the AHFS is a JOKE and a SLAP in the face to any of us that still care about making their car one of the fastest in the class that they run. BP
Barry, maybe it's because if you look at the Nitro Joe stats for 2022. 17 350 255 cars went a second under, out of those 8 went 1.10 under, and 1 car went 1.369 under. So it was capable of hitting a trigger 17 times with different cars. even when it did at races where it counted, it had enough slower cars to keep the average down. These new rules are gonna wreak havoc on me also being there are only 2 of us in the country running my combo.
