Tim ... have you received the "trick spacer yet " ... sounds like a Mr.gasket or Trans dapt aluminum spacer thats been put in a Bridgeport mill and had the top side milled on a angle .. I made one in the late 70.s for my 283 SS er and it made quite a change in performance especially with a lot of front end lift on launch as the spacer levelled off the 4gc carb angle on top of manifold and fixed a slight stumble
